Project Overview

Lithium Battery Backup Power for Hospital Data Room and Clean Engineering Systems

This project was developed as a backup power supply system for the new inpatient building at Peking University Cancer Hospital. The system supports the first-floor data room and the seventh-floor clean engineering system.

Each system consists of one UPS and two lithium battery storage units using 2C-rated batteries. The design allows the remaining battery system to handle the full load if one UPS battery system fails, supporting reliable emergency power supply for hospital critical loads.

The system integrates energy storage batteries, converters, monitoring, off-grid intelligent switching and black start capability. When grid power is interrupted, the system is designed to switch automatically to maintain power supply for critical loads.
