Project Overview
Solar and Battery Storage for Factory Off-grid Operation
This project was developed for a factory in Bamako, Mali, where solar power, battery storage and diesel generators were integrated to support daily production and site electricity demand.
The project includes 860 pieces of 580Wp photovoltaic modules installed across three buildings, together with five 215kWh energy storage systems. This cabinet-based storage architecture provides a flexible way to build a 1MWh-level off-grid system.
The system is designed to make better use of on-site solar generation while providing battery storage support for factory operation. Diesel generator integration also helps improve power availability when solar generation or stored energy is not sufficient.
